I was selected as a ‘Young Innovative Talent’ by the 2024 Ningbo Yongjiang Talent Programme for a period of five years. I will conduct fundamental research on discovering new permanent magnets using first-principles calculations and machine learning techniques.
My proposal entitled ‘Development of Magnon Free Energy Evaluation Algorithm at Finite Temperatures and Its Application in the Design of ThMn$_{12}$-Type Permanent Magnets’ has been selected by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
Xing has obtained a permanent associate professor position at NIMTE. My primary focus at NIMTE will be on computational studies of the physical properties of permanent magnets, using first-principles calculations and machine learning techniques.
